CHSP home maintenance services assist clients to maintain their home in a safe and habitable condition. Examples of home maintenance funded under the program include:
All work must be authorised by LifeTec and we do not offer emergency maintenance services.
LifeTec is funded by My Aged Care under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) to provide home maintenance services to eligible seniors. Under this program clients only pay for the cost of materials. All labour costs are subsidised by LifeTec.
Under the CHSP LifeTec can provide assistance with home maintenance to eligible seniors, who are frail older people aged 65 years and over (50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) and who have difficulty doing everyday tasks. Eligible persons must live within the Townsville local government area.
