Cybersparks Pilot Project

Project description:

  • This pilot project is designed so that people with a physical disability can collaborate with therapists, carers, makers and other volunteers to improve digital participation in ways that matter to them.
  • Uses a social living labs approach – sessions are experimental spaces in which new ideas, approaches and solutions can be tried out. Everyone is part of the team!
  • We will have access to an accessible computer lab with computers with all kinds of software for image editing, recording and design. You can also bring your own device.
  • We will be bringing a range of different assistive technology items like eye gaze systems, head tracking mice, voice dictation options, switches and more to try out.
  • If the project is successful, we will be looking at ways to continue this program through various funding sources.
