Our team can work with people of any age, and for any goal, whether it be for your home, work or community.
We can provide these services at our offices, your home, workplace, school, or any other location at any time. Telehealth (video consultations) are also available.

- Chronic Disease Management under Medicare
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) (available 1 April 2016 in NDIS sites only)
Implementation, Training & Support
Our team can provide individual training and support on maximising the technologies and systems you have and includes:
- Wheelchair Skills
- Home Technologies Training and Support
- Communication System set up and training
- Switch and Alternative Access
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication
This training can also be provided for you, your family / carers or any formal care providers.
Our team of Occupational Therapists have over 20 years’ experience in planning, designing and coordinating home modifications to meet your individual goals and needs whether this be your bathroom, kitchen, entry or general living areas. We can assist with your existing home or new builds, provide concept briefs and design suggestions.
We all value the ability to communicate as a fundamental right. Communication enables autonomy, identity, independence and participation. People who experience complex communication needs (CCN) benefit from the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solutions to meet their communication needs and enhance life experiences. What is AAC? AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. This term describes various methods of communication and may include: High-tech speech generating devices Low-tech communication boards/books High-tech single and multi-message communication aids Low-tech symbols Unaided systems e.g. signing
Fees & Charges
This includes assessment, therapy, training, fitting and any approved travel to deliver support.
Effective 1st July 2017, LifeTec services to NDIS participants are to be quoted/charged at the following rate:
Local $175.57 per hour
Remote $210.68 per hour (20% loading)
Very Remote $219.46 per hour (25% loading)
All other Private Services
Effective 1st August 2017, LifeTec Private services are to be quoted/charged at the following rate:
Health Professionals $175.00 per hour (plus GST where applicable)
CSO's $87.50 per hour (plus GST where applicable)
The only exception is DVA which will be charged at the DVA published rates
Travel $ 50.00 per hour (plus GST where applicable)
Travel is to be calculated from the closest of the: Brisbane office, Townsville office or nearest LifeTec access points.
Travel less than 10 km is not to be charged.
All services are payable at the time of service unless other arrangements are made prior to the services.
All rates are for private allied health services provided during standard business hours, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Services can be available outside of standard business hours or on public holidays however additional charges may apply and will be confirmed prior to confirming that service.
